UNICEF launched U-Report in Myanmar in 2016 as a youth-led, free platform designed to empower adolescents, young people and communities to speak out on the issues that matter to them, promoting citizen-led development and positive social change. Through the partnership with Viber, users of the popular calling and messaging app will be able to join U-Report, where they will also be able to engage with free U-Report Viber stickers featuring fun characters and inspirational messages. U-Report Myanmar is a community participation tool that uses social media to enable young people to express their opinions and advocate for positive change in their communities and among their friends.
